Bring Clean Water – Arusha Monduli
Bringing Safe Water, Health and Hope to Communities
Access to clean and safe water is one of the most basic needs for every child and family. Yet, in some communities around Monduli District, Arusha, Tanzania, families still face challenges accessing reliable sources of safe water.
Through the Bring Clean Water – Arusha Monduli project, Mtoto Legacy is committed to supporting communities with access to clean and safe water while helping create healthier and more sustainable environments for children to grow.
Our Goal
Our goal is to help communities access reliable sources of clean water for drinking, cooking, hygiene, and everyday household needs. By improving access to water, we aim to reduce the burden placed on children and families who may have to travel long distances to collect water.
What We Plan to Do
Through this project, Mtoto Legacy works with local communities and partners to:
- Support the development and improvement of clean-water sources.
- Provide or support water storage facilities where needed.
- Improve access to water for children, families, and schools.
- Promote hygiene and safe water practices.
- Support community-led water management and sustainability.
- Raise awareness about the importance of protecting local water sources.
Why It Matters
Clean water can change a child’s daily life.
When children have better access to safe water, families can spend less time searching for water and children can have more opportunity to attend school, learn, play, and grow in a healthier environment.
For Mtoto Legacy, clean water is not simply about providing a resource. It is about creating the conditions children need to build a better future.
Our Community Approach
We believe sustainable change happens when communities are part of the solution. Mtoto Legacy will work together with community members, local leaders, schools, volunteers, donors, and development partners to identify needs and support practical solutions that can serve communities for years to come.
